Number Tracing worksheets
Free printable number tracing worksheets covering 1 through 20 plus tens to 100. Built for Pre-K and Kindergarten learners working on numeral formation, one-to-one correspondence, and early counting fluency.
Number formation is one of the trickiest fine-motor tasks for Pre-K and Kindergarten kids. Numerals like 5, 8, and 9 require multiple strokes, changes of direction, and a clear sense of where a stroke starts and stops. Our number tracing pages break each numeral down with a starting dot, directional arrows, and dotted guide lines, then provide several rows of independent practice in progressively smaller sizes.
Beyond formation, every page also includes a small counting frame — a row of objects, a ten-frame, or a tally — so the worksheet doubles as quantity practice. Kids who can write a 4 but cannot yet count out four buttons benefit enormously from this pairing, because it links the abstract symbol to a concrete amount.
